About this product
A genuinely good blindfold is mostly about the details: real silk against the skin, a lining that actually blocks light, and a strap that adjusts without velcro catching hair. The Velaine blindfold gets all three right, which is why it also happens to be an excellent sleep mask.
The outer layer is grade-6A mulberry silk; the blackout core is soft moulded foam that rests around the eyes rather than pressing on them.

Yes — the moulded foam core sits against the cheekbones and brow rather than flat across the eyes, which is what closes the usual light gap along the nose.
How do I wash silk?+
Hand wash in cold water with a drop of gentle detergent, press (do not wring) in a towel, and air dry away from direct sun.
